Unzip the wp_subscriber folder to mu-plugins/
(ex. .../wp-content/mu-plugins/wp_subscriber/...)
Copy wsub_buttons.php to /wp-admin/
Copy wsub_paypal_ipn.php to blog's home directory
Copy wp_subscriber.php to /wp-content/mu-plugins/
Access "Subscriptions" under "Site Admin"

Paypal API Access
Log-in to your Paypal account
Click "My Account > Profile" tab
Click "API Access" (1st column)
Request API Credentials if you have done so already
Keep this information handy for the plug-in's configuration
Paypal Website Payment Preferences
Log-in to your Paypal account
Click "My Account > Profile" tab
Click "Website Payment Preferences" (3rd column)
Turn ON "Auto Return"
The "Return URL" can be anything. It's not important that this is a URL to your blog.
Turn ON "Payment Data Transfer"
Paypal Buttons
Log-in to your Paypal account
Click "My Account > Profile" tab
Click "Create New Button" or "My Saved Buttons" (3rd column)
For "Accept payments for" select "Subscriptions and recurring billing"
Configure the remaining options of the button as you like
Click "Create Button" button
Cut-n-Paste the code provided into the button configuration of the plug-in
Plug-in Settings
Access "Subscriptions" under "Site Admin"
Click "Settings" tab
Copy-n-paste the API credentials from the steps above
